2025 Flow DataTo operate the treatment plant as efficiently as possible, we routinely monitor various plant parameters. We monitor flows from each of our member agencies (San Bernardino County Service Area 53B, Big Bear City Community Services District, and the City of Big Bear Lake), as well as side streams within the plant and our effluent flow to alfalfa fields in Lucerne Valley.
OperationsWe provide physical, biological, and chemical treatment for wastewater to remove pollutants, disinfect, and produce effluent, which is suitable and safe for reintroduction back into the environment.
Service Area We are located approximately 100 miles east of Los Angeles in the San Bernardino Mountains. Our service territory covers 79,000 acres and approximately 25,000 service connections from our member agencies.
