The Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency has adopted the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (UPCCAA) as set forth in California Public Contract Code Section 22010, which allows the Agency to conduct informal bids for public works construction projects from $60,000 to $200,000.
The Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency Governing Board wishes to make efficient use of the Board Room by making it available to the community as a convenient public service for government, charitable, and non-profit organizations to be used with certain restrictions expressly delineated in the rental agreement.
Fees and charges may differ depending upon the area of the Big Bear Valley in which the property is located.
Odors usually remain inside the sewer system, but when a pipe runs full and/or the underground elevation of the sewer changes enough to stir up the wastewater, odors can build up to the point where they escape to outside air through pick holes in maintenance hole covers, through vents and other very small openings in the pipeline and connection points.
