Administration Building Roof Replacement Project

The Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency invites and will receive sealed Bids up to but not later than  2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Administration office, located at 121 Palomino Drive, Big Bear City, California, for the furnishing to Agency of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the Administration Building Roof Replacement Project.

The project consists of replacing the existing clay tile roof with a shingle roof. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing clay tile and related materials. The contractor will be responsible for installing a new roofing system (approx. 7,300 SF) in accordance with the specifications provided and the latest building codes, including but not limited to, installing new 30lb felt, Class A 3-tab roofing shingles, ridge caps, edge flashing, and mechanical fasteners as specified by manufacturer. The contractor will be responsible for the installation of flashing and ice dams as needed, and two new roof 3” penetration with caps for bathroom vents. The penetration shall be installed 2-foot above roof height within 10 feet of the roof pitch.
