1. Call to Order

A special meeting of the Governing Board of the Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency was held on Monday, December 2, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at 122 Palomino Drive, Big Bear City, California.

Governing Board Members present: Bob Colven, Mary Cortez, Dr. Don Eads, Bill Mellen and Jeff Newsome

Governing Board Members absent: None

Others present: Tom Harder, GEOSCIENCE and Steven DeBaun, Best, Best & Krieger

Staff present: Steven C. Schindler, General Manager.

2. Pledge of Allegiance

Chairman Colven called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. New Business

A. License Agreement for Pilot Testing in Van Dusen Canyon

Mr. Schindler provided the Governing Board with an update of the plan for pilot testing in Van Dusen Canyon. He advised the Governing Board that the Big Bear City Community Services District has approved our use of their property during their November meeting.

The Governing Board members discussed the process and work involved. Upon motion by Board Member Newsome seconded by Board Member Dr. Eads, and carried, the Governing Board approved the License Agreement for Pilot Test in Van Dusen Canyon.
